Who would have imagined that the young girl born to Nabil and Rimonda Ajram on the 16th of May, 1983 in Al Ashrafia, Lebanon would be a famous singer by the age of 21!
She had quite a normal childhood with her small family that consisted of her parents, her sister and brother and herself. But when Nancy Ajram was 12, she participated in a television program called "Nojoum Al Mostakbal" and actually won first prize. Soon after, Ajram began studying music under the supervision of some of the finest teachers in her country. When she turned 18, she joined the Syndicate of Professional Artists in Lebanon - after they made an exception regarding her age.
Her first album; Mehtagalak, was released in 1998 and marked her first official step in the world of show business. But, it took the young singer another 3 years to launch her second album Shil Eyounak Aney in 2003. Then her true hit came with her third and most famous album Ya Salam in 2003. The singer stressed the success of the album by shooting three of its songs; Akhasmak Ah, Ya Salam and Sehr Eyounoh, in the form of video clips. The clips were a tremendous hit and gained popularity in such a short time and gave the singer incredible fame in the Arab world.
Her latest album is Ah we Nos was released this year. Nancy already shot two of its songs as video clips; Loun Eyounak and Ah we Nos - and word has it she will shoot a third song soon. The album is witnessing the same success as the previous one.
As for other activities besides singing, the Lebanese diva has agreed to be the spokesperson for the international soft drink company Coca Cola. But when it came to invading the silver screen, Ajram refused to take that step now and preferred to postpone it so she can concentrate on her singing career
It seems that the Egyptian composer Hilmi Baker who has composed beautiful song through his career has stopped criticizing new singers. Baker has decided to go back to composing after being away from it for five years.

The event was done in celebration of a grand opening of a major tourist project called 'Serrenia' in the south of Sinai and Lionel was specifically invited to launch the event.
