After he finished his primary education in Dar El-Tefl School, Hisham Mohamed Mahmoud Abbas, AKA Hisham Abbas, then received his secondary education, as well as the GCE Certificate, from Education Home School. Then it was time for college and Abbas decided to enroll in the American University in Cairo (AUC) and major in Mechanical Engineering.

All this time though, singing remained his hobby and he only sang in his friends' birthdays or on trips. This was of course other than the band that he put together in the period from 1977-8. The "Bats Band", as they liked to call themselves, was only the beginning though; during his years in the AUC, Hisham gained wide popularity in the University and came to be known as a singer with great potential.

Upon graduating, he realized singing was in his blood and so Hisham started making it his profession and not only his hobby. He has released around 10 solo albums since then, all of which have achieved great success and brought the talented singer recognition and fame in the music industry. After his first solo song "Allah Yesalem Halak" came a number of albums; like "Ya Leila", "Habetha", ""Hisham 95", Zay El-Awel" and "Best of Americana Show". "Kalam El-Leil" was another story of success for Abbas. It included the hit song "Shofi" which gained wide popularity when it was released. Then came "Ard El-Shark" and "From the Best of Hisham Abbas" in the year 2000. But Hisham's dreams were bigger still and included presenting something new and invading the Western world. So in 2001, he released his album "Habibi Dah" and the video clip of the title song; that was shot in India. As the following year came, Abbas invaded the markets with "Gowa Fe Albey". In the year 2003, the singer was still at it and decided to hit the markets once more with "The Very Best of Hisham Abbas". Hisham's latest album is "Sebha Tehebak" and it has been rocking the markets so far.

As for his personal life, Hisham is married with two kids; Yasmina and Aly. His hobbies are driving cars and traveling- and of course singing!
